Harnessing the Power of Reflection for Learning in the Workplace

Decades of research show that taking time to reflect is a critical aspect of learning, and that one’s ability to use reflection effectively improves with practice. However, it can be hard to find time to design and implement meaningful reflection activities in the workplace. Recently, the Next Level Lab conducted a study that asked summer interns at a large international consulting firm to engage in periodic reflection exercises over the course of their internship. This module from NLL Senior Project Manager Dr. Megan Cuzzolino presents the early findings from the study, inviting you into the research process and asking you to consider the implications for engaging learners in the workplace.
