Sarah Montroll

Sarah Montroll holds an Ed.M. in Learning Design, Innovation and Technology from HGSE, and a B.A in Environmental Studies and Public Health from the University of Vermont. As a Research Assistant at the Next Level Lab, Sarah supports the Work/Learn study and the project on EarthXDesign. Prior to HGSE, she worked as educator at Teton Science Schools in Wyoming, where she developed and implemented place-based environmental science curriculum. Sarah is passionate about leveraging education as a tool for climate action and using the science of learning to create educational spaces that are personalized, engaging, and deeply relevant. During her free time, Sarah enjoys biking, skiing, and rewatching episodes of New Girl.
