Karina Gervyte serves as a research assistant at the Next Level Lab and is currently pursuing an Ed.M. in Human Development and Education at Harvard Graduate School of Education. With a BSc in Clinical Psychology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, she brings a perspective from the intersection of psychology and education. Her previous work has spanned educational research, professional development for higher education faculty, and education innovations focused on inclusivity and accessibility. As an active member of Harvard Innovation Labs, Karina focuses on the social impact of AI tools that support teachers in making educational materials more inclusive. Deeply interested in neurodiversity and Universal Design for Learning as essential resources for supporting diverse learners, she is passionate about leveraging learning design and instructional design to create more inclusive workplace and educational environments that accommodate different learner profiles and support continuous professional development.
