Hilda Nalwanga is a learning designer and design-based researcher who earned her Ed.M. in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology from HGSE in 2022. She enjoys holding space for user and learner conversations with greater focus on qualitative research. She is passionate about designing learning spaces beyond classroom walls and institutions with the goal of driving inclusive design of learning environments and products. Hilda stumbled into Learning Design and Research from a workforce development background where she started asking questions about the relevance of programs she was designing for different students, majority of whom being low income and first-generation, as well as students with disabilities. She holds a B.A. in Government and African Studies from Smith College.
