Eman Manya is a research assistant at the Next Level Lab and a master’s student in Education Leadership, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She began her career in business and digital marketing, working on strategy and campaigns for healthcare clients and major consumer brands. A few years later, she found her passion into education, teaching high school Economics in Karachi, Pakistan – both in some of the city’s most prestigious schools as well as in underserved communities – and later in California. These experiences deepened her awareness of inequities in access, language, and social capital across diverse contexts. At the Next Level Lab, Eman is interested in combining her expertise in business, education, and strategy to support research on workforce development, metacognition, and innovative learning design. She is passionate about leveraging educational technology to expand access and create more inclusive learning environments, particularly for underserved learners.
