Della Ando is currently pursuing her studies in the Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology (LDIT) program at HGSE. She holds a B.S. (Honors) in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University, which significantly informs her research interests in applying cognitive science and human development principles to enhance classroom engagement and management. Della is particularly passionate about incorporating social-emotional learning (SEL) into both classroom environments and teacher professional development.
Before joining HGSE, Della served as a Middle School Science Teacher and Special Projects Coordinator at Roxbury Prep Charter School. In her role as a science teacher, she was dedicated to fostering engagement and instilling a love for science in her students. As a Special Projects Coordinator, she focused on optimizing and improving school systems to enhance effectiveness across the administration, operations, and instructional teams.
