Carúmey Stevens (She/Her) is a graduate student in the Learning Design Innovation and Technology Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Currently, Carúmey is exploring her passions for equity, learning design, and technology through her coursework and research at the Next Level Lab and MIT. In her work, she focuses on the design and implementation of technology-enabled products, programs, and practices that promote inclusion and accessibility for all users.
Prior to Harvard, Carúmey held roles in DEI, workplace learning, and quantitative and qualitative research at various companies and organizations ranging from the NIH and CDC to Fortune 500 companies. She received her B.S. from Cornell University in Human Development, where she focused on the intersection of human behavior and built environments with a specific lens towards championing human-centered design practices for historically marginalized communities.
Carúmey is excited to be a part of the Next Level Lab to continue her lifelong journey and commitment to remaining curious and empathetic in an effort to design a better world for all.
