Arushi Kumar (she/her) is an education researcher and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) specialist from India. She earned her Ed.M. in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in 2025.
Her work focuses on helping organizations improve their processes and prove their impact through evidence-based research and thoughtful data systems. At Rocket Learning, Arushi led large-scale evaluations of early childhood education programs across three Indian states, analyzing teacher knowledge, classroom practices, and student outcomes.
A former Teach for India fellow, she has worked across education nonprofits in roles spanning research, evaluation, fundraising, and strategy, with a focus on making evidence accessible, actionable, and equity-centered.
Arushi holds an M.A. in Education from Azim Premji University and a B.A. in Journalism from Lady Shri Ram College for Women.
