Lívia Fares serves as a Graduate Research at the Next Level Lab and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. With a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from the University of São Paulo (USP), she brings a technical perspective to the design of educational solutions. Her previous experience spans five years as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, where she led cross-functional projects and mentored entry-level engineers, alongside her role as a Board Member at Cozimax Institute, where she designed evidence-based projects to support students in low-income neighborhoods. She has also conducted research on Generative AI-driven recommendations for personalized learning and active learning integration in public schools. She is passionate about leveraging technology to create scalable and inclusive learning environments that bridge access gaps and empower marginalized communities to achieve their full potential.
